About Pay-what-you-can
(or PWYC)
To establish and support the industry standard for courses like mine. There's a thin line between creating radical access for students and undercutting the teacher training industry, and this is the way I've decided to walk that line!
PWYC is for everyone who needs it. The only thing I'm doing is putting the gatekeeping in your hands. I trust you to decide the difference between "need" and "want" when it comes to what you pay for my courses.
No, I'm not the gatekeeper here. You're the only one who knows what you can afford.
No one "needs" my work here--it will make your life better, it's a lot of fun, but I'm not going to pretend that you HAVE to do any of these courses.
Using this system since 2021, I can say that there are roughly three pay scale types:
1) Folks who pay between $1-$30, regardless of what they're getting.
2) Folks who pay the base price, regardless of what it is.
3) Folks who pay the base price+50%, regardless of what it is.
I offer price points as much as double the base price, but no one has ever done double before 😂
You have "official permission" to pay a price that feels like a deep discount for your first course or class...and for any courses or classes, for as long as you want!
I recommend starting with one of my workshops. These are 60min recordings of live presentations...just hit play!
We've all tried to introduce creative or expressive drills or exercises to our classes...but without scaffolding, those attempts are hit-and-miss in unpredictable ways.
Talking about body shape and food can be SO uncomfortable. Check out this live workshop recording for tools and scripts to help dismantle anti-fat bias, feel more assured talking about food and create more open dialogue around these touchy subjects.
If you want your students to get stronger without risking them feeling weak or inadequate, or if you're bored with the old "here's how you make it easier, here's how you make it harder" approach--this is the workshop for you!
These are longer, interactive self-paced classes that go into more depth than the workshops.
"Can I spot you?" is where most people start, but movement teaching is in dire need of some deeper thought on consent. This course is a 201-level deep dive into consent practice for movement teachers.
Want to take your understanding of teaching to the next level? This course gives you the language, history, theory and practical tools that you need to transform your teaching practice.
This mini-course reviews the psychology of motivation and suggests specific ways teachers can create a class culture that has motivational effects.
